Hill Parking Lot Improvements
Construction of the Chicken Hill Parking Lot Improvements began on February 25th. This project will pave the lower part of Chicken Hill, which is located at the corner of Southgate Drive and Tech Center Drive. The improved parking lot, to be available in September 2008, will look similar to the Lane Stadium parking lot. The steep grades on the upper and lower lots will be improved. A Blacksburg Transit pull off/stop will be added along Tech Center Drive. Storm water runoff will be handled with innovative storm water management techniques.
From February 18 through September there will be no parking or access through the Upper and Lower Chicken Hill area. For parking request please call Parking Services at 231-3200.
