VTSpace is an interactive program written to run on an IBM PC or compatible computer that queries the Virginia Tech room inventory database. This version will run only under DOS or in a DOS window!
The 296 kb zip archive vtspace.zip contains all files necessary to install or update VTSpace. The archive contains:
To update an existing copy of VTSpace, download vtspace.zip to your PC and upzip the archive. Copy the file VTINSTAL.EXE to the directory C:\VTSPACE. Open a DOS C:> prompt. Then, enter the following three commands to update your version of VTSpace:
CD \VTSPACE
VTINSTAL /N
CD \
If you are installing VTSpace, download vtspace.zip, unzip the archive, then copy all of the files in this directory to a diskette. Then, enter 'A:\INSTALL' to copy the files to your hard disk. You may modify 'INSTALL.BAT' to install VTSpace from somewhere other than a diskette.
Now, when you run VTSpace, you will be working with the latest version and information available.
