The Plumbing Shop makes repairs to hot and cold domestic water systems and drains, such as sinks and rest rooms, steam and hot water heat in radiators or convectors, water fountains, small heating and ventilating units and other related equipment and services.

A I R   Q U A L I T Y

The air quality crews work closely with Health and Safety Department to identify air quality problems. This unit resolves these problems by providing cleaning and repair of ductwork and equipment.

A I R   C O N D I T I O N I N G / R E F R I G E R A T I O N

The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Shop makes repairs to air conditioning, heating and ventilation systems, window air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers and coolers, water coolers, and temperature controls.

S H E E T   M E T A L / W E L D I N G

The Sheet Metal Shop makes repairs to duct systems for heating or cooling, fume hood exhaust ducts, miscellaneous light gage metal items, and other related equipment. The Welding Shop repairs a wide variety of objects of different gauge metals for campus building components and systems.

E M E R G E N C Y   T E C H N I C I A N S

Technicians are available to respond to emergency calls until midnight, Monday through Friday, and between the hours of 10:00am and 10:00pm, on Saturday and Sunday. To report an emergency after normal working hours call the Tech Police at 231-6411.
