Giving Day

Two funds to support for Giving Day 2023!
New Gateway to Campus

With the construction of the new residential and administrative buildings and landscape at the historic Upper Quad District nearing completion, there is an opportunity to highlight this important entry into the Virginia Tech campus.
Aligning with the campus master plan and building on an established precedent, this proposed entry wall and landscape will be sited at the intersection of Turner and Old Turner Street. The wall will be faced with our traditional Hokie Stone material and surrounded by planting. This new gateway feature will create a memorable moment along the Turner Street corridor and will help demarcate the edge between Virginia Tech’s campus and downtown Blacksburg.

Climate Action Living Laboratory (CALL)

Virginia Tech, in partnership with SunTribe Solar, is working on the installation of nearly 2 MW of solar on campus rooftops over the next year. The solar panel installation will provide students with opportunities for first-hand experience with solar power and storage data for research. This is just one of the projects that is being done to integrate sustainability into Virginia Tech’s curriculum through the Climate Action Living Laboratory (CALL). Your gift will support this program and others like it.
