Update - Blacksburg campus chilled water impacts, Jan. 2-12, 2020:
To support ongoing construction efforts to improve the campus chilled water network, Virginia Tech Facilities Department will shut down the Southwest Chiller Plant starting on Jan. 2, 2020 at 9 p.m. and will return it back online on Jan. 12, 2020 at 5 p.m.
During this time there will be no central chilled water available for cooling at impacted buildings (see list); heat will not be impacted in any buildings.

The Virginia Tech Facilities Department is committed to keeping the community informed on the latest traffic, pedestrian, parking, and accessibility impacts.
During the project, the Facilities website, Campus Closures Map, and on-campus signage will provide information about these impacts. Construction teams will strive to maintain a barrier-free environment and will restore affected areas to a compliant, accessible state. Please report any accessibility barriers using this form.
