Earth Week

 Earth Week 2023 is April 17-22!

Virginia Tech is excited to celebrate Earth Week each April. There are always a lot of events to participate in, so please don't hesitate to join in the fun! Check out all the events listed below, follow us on social media, and view our calendar of events for even more details. 

The particular events held during Earth Week change each year, but the basic mission to “build a more just and sustainable community through education, action, and appreciation for our world” is carried through year to year.

VT Bee Day

Sponsor: VT Bee Campus USA Standing Committee
Description: Join some of the members of Virginia Tech's Bee Campus committee to extend our pollinator habitat at Hillcrest! The first phase of this lavendar planting was put in one year ago as an Earth Week 2022 event and we're excited to be able to extend that planting and provide even more habitat! We'll also be unveiling the locations of six new bee boxes on campus.

Ecological Tour of the Old Growth Forest
